What Happens In Vegas...

A successful superstition: at our wedding, Jamie and Dylan caught the bouquet and garter, and now they are getting married in August. Yay for love!

Last weekend was Miss Jamie's Bachelorette Party in Vegas. Jamie, Amber, Cassidy and I had a fun little road trip and enjoyed the Vegas heat for a couple days. On Saturday, we hit the pool in the morning and then got dressed up in our Cougarettes and Cougar shirts and got ready to hit the strip. We went to Jamie's favorite restaurant BJ's and then saw the show Ka. We had some fun walking around the strip before we called it a night.

I am so excited for Jamie and Dylan and thankful to be a part of their big day. XOXO.

Board & Batten Baby

I really really love the board and batten craze, and have been wanting to do it to a wall in my house. I think it just brightens up a room and gives it a little personality, and I love it. So while Ryan was out of town last weekend, I recruited my Dad to help me start on my board and batten wall project in my bedroom. We got the measurements made, the windows framed and the first boards nailed up. I am so thankful to have a Dad that is so willing to help and has so much knowledge. I love learning from him. Throughout the week, Ryan and I finished the wall up. We finally finished it last night, and I really love how it turned out. It really transformed our dark wall to a bright one. Now onto the next project...

Welcome Baby Charlotte!

Our sweet niece, Charlotte Nicole Jones was born this morning! She was 8 lbs. 4 oz. and 21 inches long. She's such a sweetheart and we are so excited to have a baby in the family! Ryan calls me a baby snatcher, because whenever there's a baby around, I usually find a way to hold it. We went and visited little miss Charlotte and Nicole on lunch today and we are already so in love with her! It was fun seeing Ryan hold her and makes me look forward to him being a Dad someday. I love being a part of Ryan's family, and am thankful they are sharing this special day with us! Happy Birthday Charlotte! XOXO.

Girls Weekend

This year for Mother's Day, I bought my Mom and Grams tickets to see The Little Mermaid at Tuacahn. It just so happened that it was the weekend of my Grandma's birthday too, so we had lots to celebrate! Bennie, Paige and little Rustin bug came with us too. We headed to sunny St. George on Friday morning and did a little shopping before the show started. Ryan's sweet Grandma Colleen came to the show with us too. It was so fun to have her! The show was so awesome! I love Tuacahn. It's such a pretty setting and they always put on great shows! On Saturday, we bummed around St. George and took Grandma to get a pedicure for her birthday. Then we all went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Yum! It was so much fun spending time with my favorite gals! And of course it was fun to have funny little Rustin there with us too! Sunday morning we went to the pool for a bit and then cleaned up and headed home. The weekend flew by! It was so much fun! I am so thankful for My amazing Mom and Grandma. They are amazing women and I owe everything to them!

I hope we can continue this girls trip tradition and go again next year. I'm sure Ryan enjoyed sleeping in over the weekend.
