| Building Team Hinton |
We have been working our buns off trying to get some house projects done. Since my parents gave us a saw and my awesome Kreg Jig for Christmas, we have been making weekly trips to Lowe's to get building supplies for my many projects. So far we've made frames and small things, like this frame. We have created our little workshop in our basement, but it's been difficult building things without a table. So we built one! With some help from my Dad, and some determination, we completed our biggest project yet....our new work bench. I found the tutorial for it on one of my favorite blogs, Shanty 2 Chic. As you can tell by the pics, Ryan was really excited to finish this one. It is a nice big, sturdy table, and we finished it without any injuries or major arguments. It's interesting how painting and building things can stir up a little competition and some disagreements. We can both be a little stubborn and think our way of doing it is better, but we always are able to work through it together and have fun doing it. It's fun to see the finished project. It makes all the work worth it.
